What is PaperDock?
PaperDock is a collaborative online LaTeX editor that connects research teams, shared projects in the browser, and the AI assistants they already use. Connect ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Gemini, or another MCP-capable agent to explore and edit LaTeX files, compile PDFs, and participate in Comments and Chat. Teammates can edit together in real time, inspect proposed AI edits in Review changes, and decide what to keep. PaperDock applies the same project permissions in the web app and through MCP, so your assistant only works with projects and actions available to you. Projects are private and support up to eight members during the public beta. Owners, Editors, and Viewers retain their established access, while project history and browser-based PDF compilation keep research work traceable from source files to output. AI agent connections are always free. Web compilation supports pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, and LuaLaTeX in an isolated runner. See current workspace limits.
